RAC Meeting
January 24, 2017
Minutes

Mazie McMahon called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM.

Committee Members Present: Mary Kendall, Sue Senna, Kathy Stone, Charles Franklin, Jo Ann Diana, and Mazie McMahon
Absent: Tim Mosher

Minutes from the December meeting were not read as they were posted on the main and RAC blogs and on the bulletin boards at the Activity Center and Clubhouse.

Update on Issues Discussed with Bob Young on January 11, 2017:
 Heating system at outdoor pool – has been fixed
 Smoking & non-smoking designated areas – signs have been posted and smoking receptacles moved to the new designated smoking areas
 Tennis & Pickle ball courts – painting of new lines has been scheduled, Management will get new nets and crank, resurfacing to take place late this year or 1st quarter of next year
 Spa at Outdoor Pool – all the jets are going to be replaced with new ones
 Lift at Outdoor Pool – Mr. Young said no to this request; however, if the residents want to pay for a lift, they can. That being said, the lift must be approved by Management.
Update on Issues Discussed with Manager

New Issues from Dec RAC Mtg
 GFI Electrical issue in Clubhouse kitchen – Maintenance has been told to fix this
 Hole in Clubhouse ceiling – Maintenance has been instructed to fix it
 Street Cleaning – RAC presented Terri with an estimate to have all the streets cleaned. She will discuss this with Mr. Young.
Follow-up on Older Issues
 Lock on outdoor pool – cannot be lowered due to State height requirements, new locks are going to be put on all the entrances to the pool
 Pave or gravel storage area – The area will be leveled and a special type of dirt put down that cements when it is applied
 #24 Street Light – Maintenance will check to see if the problem is with the sensor
 Cleaning the lights on the Blvd. – Will be done in the summer when they will also be painted
New Issues
 From Town Hall Meeting – suggestion of additional parking area between outdoor patio and Woodshop. Suggestions were made about additional parking and the Committee will look into it
 New Curtains at Clubhouse – HOA has requested this as well – Management has said no to this request
 Trees at both ends of AC hitting roof – Maintenance will take care of this
 The addresses of 9 homes were given to RAC because of driveways or yards filled with junk. RAC turned this information over to Management
 Storage area needs cleaning up – Maintenance will take care of this
 Follow-up to 30-day notice letters – In the last week, Management has delivered almost 200 10-day notices

The meeting adjourned at 7:40 PM.

NOTE: The next RAC meeting will be held on February 28th, 7PM in the Activity Center. Residents that have issues for RAC are asked to complete a Resident Concern Form, which can be downloaded from the RAC Blog. Additionally, paper copies are available in the Activity Center outside the HOA office. Also, residents can email Mazie McMahon at mazie.mcmahon@gmail.com or any committee member.
